Aashutosh A V

Hello, I'm Aashutosh, an MSCS student at Georgia Tech specializing in Machine Learning. I work on applied ML, multimodal intelligence, generative AI, and ML systems, with an emphasis on building models and evaluation frameworks that hold up in real-world settings.

At Georgia Tech, I am a Graduate Research Assistant at C21U with Dr. Jeonghyun (Jonna) Lee and Dr. Rod Valente, where I build LLM-powered teaching agents and human-in-the-loop evaluation pipelines. I also work with Dr. James Hays on sparse-view Novel View Synthesis evaluation for diffusion and feedforward models.

Previously, I was a Research Intern at Microsoft Research India, where I worked on forecasting, workload modeling, and placement optimization for Azure Cosmos DB. Before that, I graduated with distinction from BITS Pilani with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science.

My research interests lie at the intersection of ML systems, generative modeling, computer vision, and multimodal learning. I have published work in computer vision and generative AI, filed a U.S. patent from my systems research, and continue to explore how AI can support learning, perception, and large-scale infrastructure.

In my free time, I enjoy watching tennis, and playing pool.
